Do I need an appointment?

FAQ-1No appointment is required. Simply come to our workshop within business hours and a friendly Becs IT technician will assist you. We’re located at 1/359 Morris Road, Hoppers Crossing, Victoria 3029. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The workshop is closed Saturday and Sunday and Public Holidays.

Is there an inspection fee?

FAQ 2Inspection of most devices issues is free. Our technicians will inspect your device and determine the issue. A verbal quotation may be provided. This includes a description of the issue, whats required to repair the item, a time frame of repair and cost. Water damaged devices will incur an inspection fee, typically $88 or otherwise indicated by our technicians.

How long does it take to repair my device?

faq 3The duration of a repair depends on your device, the nature of the issue to be repaired and the availability of parts. All inspected works are quoted and a time frame of repair is indicated to the client prior to commencement. Most commonly, the turnaround for the typical service takes from one to three business days. As indicated above, this can be extended due to outside factors.

Do you provide written quotes?

faq 4Yes we do. Becs IT provide written quotations for new IT hardware and software, damaged devices and the like. This is typically required for insurance claims and reports. Written quotations for insurance reports include a fee of $88 which is paid up front. These reports take up to a business day to complete, unless otherwise indicated. Written quotations that require an onsite visit for proposed IT infrastructure upgrades, installations and inspection of damage, etc. will incur a call out fee and hourly charge.

Do you provide Remote Support?

FAQYes we do. Becs IT provide remote IT support for many clients Australia wide. Remote support is conducted via various  software applications, like, TeamViewer, LogMeIn, Windows RDC, etc. All remote support is charged in hourly intervals, unless otherwise indicated.

Do you provide onsite support?

faq 6Yes, Becs IT provide onsite support. In fact, we provide regular and periodic onsite support for our clients across metropolitan Melbourne since 2003. Becs IT specialise in onsite support for corporate and domestic clientele alike.

Can you provide regular Preventative Maintenance for my business?

faq 7Yes, Becs IT provide regular Preventative Maintenance for all contracted corporate and business clientele. Preventative Maintenance includes comprehensive oversight and management of your IT infrastructure. Depending on the size and requirements of your organisation, Becs IT manage, support and maintain the smooth operation on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
